God working

Bryce Canyon is technically not a canyon because it was not formed by erosion from a central river/stream. Instead, it was formed by surface erosion which resulted in a series of large amphitheaters. The largest is Bryce Amphitheater, shown in this photo. It is 12 miles long, 3 miles wide and 800 feet deep. (Info from Wikipedia)

I never had any interest in learning about Bryce until I had been there. Our experiences shape our lives, probably much more than we realize and in ways that we do not always understand. Or necessarily appreciate.
