This is a photo of a baby goat drinking milk from its mother. As I thought about this picture, I recalled Father Satish’s homily from last Sunday. He commented that babies are born with a few instinctual behaviors (like nursing) but most behaviors are learned behaviors. While much of what we learned is simply a product of our environment growing up, Jesus says “learn from me” (Matthew 11:29).

Satish commented on ways that we can learn from Jesus’s life, but I also think that we can learn much from the things and especially the people that God puts in our lives.
