This is a picture of the first flowers I saw last year (Mar 25).
Learn from the way the wild flowers grow. They do not work or spin. But I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was clothed like one of them.
From the reading for today:

I remember the first time I saw the Grand Canyon. The immenseness was far beyond my expectations. Nothing created by man can compare.

This picture was taken 1 year ago, on our run group’s trip to Utah and Arizona. This was at Antelope Canyon which is an amazing location where flood waters have carved a narrow canyon in the rock.
This is a picture from our hiking in Indiana last weekend. I was really fascinated by the ice floating down the river. As in, “how did it get here”? I realized that the ice may be a good metaphor for our situation in life. How did we get to where we are? And the clear answer is: transported by God, like ice on the river.
