Friends

From the reading for today:

Faithful friends are a sturdy shelter: whoever finds one has found a treasure.

Faithful friends are beyond price; no amount can balance their worth.

Faithful friends are life-saving medicine; and those who fear the Lord will find them.

Erosion

This picture was taken 1 year ago, on our run group’s trip to Utah and Arizona. This was at Antelope Canyon which is an amazing location where flood waters have carved a narrow canyon in the rock.

River Ice

This is a picture from our hiking in Indiana last weekend. I was really fascinated by the ice floating down the river. As in, “how did it get here”? I realized that the ice may be a good metaphor for our situation in life. How did we get to where we are? And the clear answer is: transported by God, like ice on the river.
